Carmine's balances a classy vibe with Italian comfort cuisine. The spacious interior is great for groups and private party rooms are available for events and group dining. Service is friendly and professional. It can get fairly loud and crowded during peak hours, but I think it's just part of the experience. Portion sizes are HUGE and are served family-style, so come with a big appetite. I recommend coming with a group of at least 4 and ordering to share. The Fried Calamari is deliciously crispy and is a must-order appetizer. The stuffed mushrooms and mussels are good too. Some of the breaded appetizers can be a bit inconsistent at times, but it was never a big issue. All the pasta I've tried so far has been delicious and well-prepared. The quality and flavor are standard for a good Italian restaurant. The Penne Alla Vodka seems to be the most popular, but my personal favorite is the Linguine with White Clam Sauce. Both the Ceasar Salad and Caprese Salad are great options if you're looking to share a salad item. The Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Marsala are also tasty--always a solid option for mains. For dessert, I recommend either the Cheesecake or Tiramisu. Overall, I recommend Carmine's, especially for anyone planning on dining with a big group.

Always a wonderful meal. I love going here with a large group of people because the dishes are so big and we love sharing. I love their Caesar salad. It's the best ever! Tonight we also have the caramel salad, which is also delicious. And we can't forget the linguine clam sauce.

Home cooked Italian food, family style and great for groups. Service is quick and you don't feel you're being rushed like any other restaurants. Definitely recommend when around the area.

I'd like to start this off by saying this place has very good food. That is why we come to restaurants, we want the food to be yummy, the service to be speedy but we don't want to be forced out too quickly. This place definitely has it down to a science. The food is pricey but it's all meant to be split. While I like this idea I don't love it. I'm more of a tapas girl and like to try many things rather than family style where you only get to taste one or two things. So be prepared for huge portions to share with your friends and family. Our waiter, an older man, was very good and personable. We did have an issue where my boyfriend forgot his ID, and they refused to serve him even though he's about to turn 30. We cleared it up because I was lucky enough to remember I had a picture of his old ID card. Other than the food, I probably wouldn't come back. It's loud, very busy, the tables are packed in and I just hate floating in the middle of a room with a bunch of other large parties. Every person in there seemed to be celebrating a birthday. This space is not intimate nor personal. But if you want large portions with people shouting to talk all around you, this is the place! The food genuinely deserved the four stars.

While in the area for a meeting and very hungry, me and a co-worker decided to try and get a table at Carmines since we both never had it before. With no reservation there was a lot of available tables outside and although it was hot, the overheard fans did a decent job at cooking us down. The service although we were outside and the only table outside was still excellent which to me is very important. Everything came out fast and we were checked on several times. The portion was huge and we split it, it's family style and one portion of penne a la vodka was too much for just 2 people which is nice to take home some leftovers. The Aperol fizz was INCREDIBLE! Would definitely return here.

My friend hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at Carmine's for about 30 people. The food and service were great, and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was preordered before the meal, and next courses were brought out as we finished the previous course. The portions are GIANT. I eat a lot, and I feel like each plate can be easily shared with at least 4 people. The waiters even sang a song at the end with dessert for the happy couple. We had a private dining area that fit the whole party, though seated a little close together. Decorations set the mood for a traditional Italian family dinner.
